HI!
I'm new in building packages for openSUSE. Awesome is my lovely tilling window manager. I thought about making a default openSUSE Awesome theme. This theme includes changes in the rc.lua and theme.lua files. I want to add a calendar widget, volume control, battery state and a shutdown-button into the rc.lua. The theme.lua will be changed in the configuration of the colors and the default background wallpaper. Also the button in the left top (like start-button) will be changed to an openSUSE-button.
Just wondering: are the rc.lua and theme.lua files shipped with the awesome package? (Oh well, I just looked and it seems they are) What would probably make sense is to do branding packages: so you'd move those files to an awesome-branding-upstream subpackage, and you can have another package called awesome-branding-openSUSE that would be your version of those files. See http://en.opensuse.org/Packaging/Branding to learn how to do this -- and we can help if needed, obviously :-) Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
