g- spec-files/

Cool stuff. How would it work for packages that have optional
dependencies?

In the end, it depends on the code generator. My qmake example would pick all
of them currently.

And for splitting files in various subpackages?

It is listet as to be done. It might make sense to write some optional generic
tool for that.

but at least in the library case, it is better to have some concrete
implementation for the qmake case to split away -devel.
