Hallo, ich hab nen OfficeJet g85 von HP. Wenn ich mich recht entsinne scannt das OfficeJet mit den gleichen Backends wie der HP 4200c. Google mal ein wenig, ob dem so ist. Ich sags gleich dazu: Ich hab das Ding unter SuSE nie zum Laufen bekommen. Unter Debian funzt er einwandfrei. Benötigt wurde der Treiber hpoj. Der Treiber hat in der Debian Version ein Setup dabei, dass die Dateien dll.conf und hp.conf anpasst. Ich hab die Dateien noch nicht nach SuSE importiert, deshalb weiss ich nicht, ob es dann so funzt. Ich denke es ist ein Versuch wert. Bei mir liegen die Dateien unter /etc/sane.d In der dll.conf sind alle Zeilen auskommentiert ausser: hp hpoj In der Datei hp.conf steht folgendes: mlc:par:0 option connect-ptal wobei mlc:par:0 den ersten Anschluss am Parallelport bezeichnet. Es muss kein Programm neu gestartet werden, wenn du Einstellungen vorgenommen hast. Die Dateien werden vor dem Scannen eingelesen. Testen, ob die Konfiguration erfolgreich war kannst du mit: scanimage --test Dabei bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung, dass das Backend nicht mit PTAL Support compiliert ist. Also bei Packman gibts die aktuelle sane Version 1.0.10 (Backend ist bereits 1.0.11) als RPM für SuSE 8.1, laut Changelog wurde da einiges für den HP Scanjet 4200c eingebaut.
ja, das habe ich installiert. mit dem HP 4200c kann aber dennoch nicht scannen. wer weiß, wie das gehen kann? josef schwendt
