He's using slang to express disdain for dissenting opinions - and
equivalent but more common alternative would be "tough luck", "that's
too bad", or "you'll have to deal with it" . I hope that helps.

Hi Andy and translators of OWN,
I'm now translating OWN issue #73 into Japanese and in trouble.
We introduce Andy's blog entry in this issue[1], but I can't see the meaning of the following sentence: "... but at the end of the day this is what works for me so tough chippolatas".
I know chippolatas are some kind of sausages, however, I can't understand what 'so tough chippolatas' means in this case exactly...
Would you please explain what you wanted to say with this phrase ?
