ibus-input-pad works fine under ibus 1.5.4 in openSUSE 12.3. I don't know what happened in your system. Perhaps, i should test it in openSUSE 13.1 later.
I installed ibus-input-pad from M17N again, and then it now works partly. Can you click the menu on its input pad window on KDE? I can on XFCE but cannot on KDE. ibus-input-pad was not dropped, sorry. I found it on 13.1 RC1.

I have not checked carefully, but it seems that ibus-input-pad does not work at all because it is too old. It has been already dropped from 13.1.
