Dear friends of CJK-internationalization,
can somebody give me a hint, where I find the right rc.config-file under SUSE 9.1 personal, where I can put the START_CANNA="yes" line?
I hope that my answer is correct and I wish it will help you. I did use Yast (System / Runlevel editor) and then, it was a piece of cake to activate canna. If you need to see thoses files, you may consider (being root), under /etc/rc.d "grep -r -e "canna" *" (I didn't find START_CANNA) You'll meet a file named canna, you'll have also files under rc3.d (usual) and under rc5.d (X11) A file beginning with s will mean start while k stands for kill HTH -- christophe
