Hi all, just for fun I thought I'd try out openSUSE on my old Raspi model B. How surprised I was, when it got a different IP address than before! With every distribution I tried before (raspbian, arch, openelec and all home built Yocto versions), it had the MAC address b8:27:eb:a9:00:de, now with opensuse 13.2 it is 1e:e0:10:10:1e:dc I'm guessing the SUSE kernel is doing something wrong wrt. the mac address? Update: after a reboot, it has ce:17:31:92:3e:9f... looks like "random mac address"... I'll try factory now. -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
