That's where I personally like btrfs for and where I see unique capabilities.
But that feature is one that I think it has been agreed should be OFF by default, so again not a majority concern.
I wouldn't say I've seen a consensus on that at all. The complaints haven't been about the snapshots. They've been about snapper being too aggressive about taking them and not aggressive enough about keeping out of the way as space becomes tighter.
