There is no such smb2 filesystem type..at least not in factory with latest kernel head.
Sorry my information was quite stale. The mount option to be used is "vers=2.1". But, when I try to use this against a Samba Server, I too get -EINVAL and this looks like a kernel issue where Negotiate Protocol is failing for some reason. Which Server you are using?
