Hi,
the recently added file in kernel-source, config-options.changes.txt, is ignored by default by osc because it matches with the default exclude_glob pattern. I had to reset exclude_glob manually in ~/.oscrc to add it in my private build kernel on OBS.
Can we rename it to be more buildservice-friendly?
Hi,
This is a recent change:
commit 8380602de6bb2c0f5ccd5d7e0d20ff4ab24f4e60 Author: Marcus Huewe
Date: Mon Jun 14 15:39:05 2010 +0200 - ignore tmp files from "vc" (*.changes.*)
I think this change should be reverted, if osc vc uses tmp files, these should have something more unique so they can be excluded more easily. From a brief look, kernel-source isn't the only package with this problem:
I just fixed it in git master: I renamed the vc tmpfile name to "*.changes.vctmp.*" and osc only excludes "*.changes.vctmp.*". This should fix the problem.
Marcus, while at it, what's the business of not ignoring *~ on ci _anymore_? Is that a meaningful pattern (other then backups) out in the wild, wild build west?
