I decided to try OpenSuse 11.4 and see if KDEPIM had been fixed yet. It isn't. I think it's basically unusable in the state that it's currently in.
Do I need to install KDE 3.5 to install KDE PIM 3.5.10? I'd rather install it in the new version of KDE 4 that come with OpenSuse 11.4.
Can I just find an opensuse kede3 repo and install the old version of KDEPIM?
I actually quite like KDE4, but not the crap version of KDEPIM that comes with it.
I think it should work, try it.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to. I have an HP laptop, with OpenSuSe 11.4 KDE4 64 bit installed, and then I installed all the KDEPIM3 programs with YAST from the download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_11.4/ There doesn't appear to be anything in the .kde directory - in fact there is no .kde directory , although there is a .kde4 directory in my home directory. Neither can I find any trace in the menu.
