It indeed is an issue about the PATH, I solved it that same day by adding it to ~/.bash_profile but I guess a userwide solution is a must have, as it will only work in with current user.

This shouldn't be happening. I'm in 42.2 and there is no need to alter the .bashrc. The sooner you report this - the sooner it gets resolved in an update.
