Can these caches be turned off?
I'm not sure turning caches off is a good idea. Perhaps a better one is to control the ageing. These numbers may be misleading. Depending on how the cash is implemented these files may be spare. Not in that there are unallocated blocks, but that some of the slots are really there on disk but are empty. There is a similar thing with the system, cache, it often represents a high water mark rather than actually being that full. -- Each success only buys an admission ticket to a more difficult problem. -- Henry Kissinger, Wilson Library Bulletin, March 1979 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
