When I migrated before from the previous OS to SuSE, 13.2 didn't know how to deal with the LVM+ext4+encryption filesystem. I just blanked it out (because I had a backup to be able to restore) but it's just an extra extra pain.
In particular every mountpoint should be deleted except for "/home".
Again, just asking for tips and pointers, in case anyone has encountered this before. Otherwise, I'll do a full install and restore from backup.
I use such installation, I just change repositories for new version and do zypper dup, https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:System_upgrade I haven't upgraded into Leap yet, but I don't suppose much differences.
