Thank you. This works for me, but .... when I reboot the system the configuration turns up as before. I have 2 screens and would like to have them different. After the reboot I have a clone of the screen and the resolution turns back to the previous defined one. if I try it via Applications > System > Desktop Applet > Screen Resize & Rotate the application tries to start ( there is a pulsing icon ), when I do ps -ef | grep krand I see also the process running, but nothing happens. Thank you very much for any suggestion ... Reinhard

The process I see running is /usr/bin/krandrtray. If I start this process by hand I have the same situation, the process is apparently running, but I do not get a window to display the application.
Any ideas ? Thank you very much for your help
KRandRTray installs an icon in the system tray. You get the window when you click on it.
I guess it's possible the systray entry is hidden. So if you don't see it, click on the little arrow to show hidden systray icons.
Of course you can also simply configure the same things from systemsettings -> Monitor (Display?) -> Size and Orientation -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
