4.7 rc2 is now served in KDE:Unstable:SC, tested on 11.4& Factory. Still need someone to test on 11.3. Here are the known problems so far:
- Kmail2 might give an error message on startup saying "KMail encountered a fatal error and will terminate now. The error was: Failed to fetch the resource collection." This is reported upstream.
- Nepomuk fails to index anything. This will be fixed next week.
- Weather applet crashes on Factory. This a problem with the new gps library. I'll debug this in coming days.
Have fun testing.
Regards.
Sorry to keep bringing up more problems. It appears the version of yast2-control-center-qt conflicts with a recent openSUSE 11.4 patch:
Thats the whole idea of testing! :)
Problem: patch:yast2-control-center-4200.noarch conflicts with yast2-control-center-qt.x86_64< 2.20.2-1.3.1 provided by yast2-control-center-qt-2.19.3-6.5.x86_64 Solution 1: Following actions will be done: install yast2-control-center-qt-2.20.2-1.3.1.x86_64 (with vendor change) obs://build.opensuse.org/KDE:Unstable --> openSUSE install yast2-control-center-2.20.2-1.3.1.x86_64 (with vendor change) obs://build.opensuse.org/KDE:Unstable --> openSUSE Solution 2: do not install patch:yast2-control-center-4200.noarch
Should the version of yast2-control-center-qt in KUSc be updated to match the patched version?
This is also bothering me, I'll try to see how we can match those together.
I disabled building this package, should be fixed now.
