I just wonder why it seems to be so hard to understand the concepts "unspported repository" and "community distribution" - certainly neither of those concepts are very compatible with a consumer mentality.
If it is forbidden to fix things in a project because it is officially unsupported, the project is a waste of time. If it is forbidden to talk about what should be fixed, it is censorship.
I understand that you need to concentrate on the Factory thing, but bashing everyone not on Factory "just because" is counterproductive. If it is too much trouble for you to read, create and recommend another way to report problems.
Please respond with a charter so that we know what to expect and who to talk to.
You seem confused about a number of things. 1) That was not a constructive suggestion to fix a problem, that was clueless whining about a problem existing in the first place when using an untested, unsupported repo on an old distro. 2) I'm not a packager. 3) Factory is not supported either, and Factory users don't have any whining privileges either. Reporting problems and suggesting solutions in a friendly and sensible manner is a different matter. 4) I'm not in any kind of position to write any kind of official charter. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
