I am leaning towards shipping kdepim4 4.4.x as the default in 11.4 - I am pessimistic that 4.6 will be ready for our userbase by release time.
Kubuntu have already put kdepim 4.4.x built vs kdelibs 4.6 in their equivalent of KDE:Distro:Factory and 4.6 pim is exiled to an experimetal repo. We may do the same. I'm waiting for a response from the PIM team.
