Hm, I use OpenSUSE 11.2 and I get nothing when i enter "akonadi" in alt-f2.
I've found another solution now: GCALDaemon

The package you need is akonadi-googledata, which is located in the community repositories. So, you might need to add the KDE:Extra repository.
