perhaps everybody else here is better informed than i am; in that case excuse me for wasting your time please.
until a couple hours ago i was under the impression that kde "factory" would contain the recent 4.3.2 release. i was surprised to learn that's not the case. factory is still 4.3.1, while the 4.3.2 release for the various oS versions is located here: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/43/
just in case somebody else suffers from the same illusion or lack of knowledge that i did... Unless I misunderstand, Factory is now past version freeze and will NOT get 4.3.2. openSUSE 11.2 will release with 4.3.1.
I'd like to say that I think that this is a huge mistake. 4.3.2 was a big stability improvement for me personally over 4.3.1. 11.2 may be in "version freeze" but isn't that bendable a bit? Especially for something like KDE - a core component, *and* 4.3.1 is a bug fix release, not a new-feature release. It'd be kind of embarrassing for 11.2 to ship with 4.3.1, IMO. -- Jon -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
