Actually the keyboard is not locked. If the user holds the key down for a second we get the letter. Subsequently, additional letters are placed according to the rate in the settings. Can anyone tell me where the setting that delays the first letter might be found?
Thanks for assitance.

Installed 10.0 boxed set on a users desktop a couple of day ago. This a.m. the keyboard locked up. Signing on as a different user (root) the keyboard works fine. Signing the same user on GNOME the keyboard works fine. So it is a KDE problem. Any ideas how the keyboard could get locked on KDE for this particular user?
Thanks for any help.
