I am having a problem getting Mozilla Firefox 1.0PR to print in kde 3.2 on SuSE 9.1. I tried the steps mentioned in the support database, all to the same result. When I send a print job to a printer from firefox, kprinter pops up. I then send the job, and nothing happens. When I look on CUPS, the print job is listed as being from <STDIN> and the job's state is listed as "aborted." Other programs, including Kate, OpenOffice.org, and adobe acrobat print fine. Any ideas? - -- John Quentin Heywood Adjunct Professor of International Law Digital Media Librarian & Information Architect American University Washington College of Law 202-274-4329 heywood@american.edu -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux)

I'm not sure what guidelines from the support database you are following. My set-up on Firefox works and it seems quite simple: the printer is described as "Postscript/epson_stylusc82" and the Properties for this say that the print command is kprinter. As far as I remember, the printer name was set that way by default, but it was me who changed the print command to "kprinter". Hope this helps!
