Hi @all, my problem is that I use fluxbox as windowmanager and want to start new session like in kde.
Does someone know the command which is used in kde for new session? -- regards

WINDOWMANAGER=kde startx -- :8 is what you are looking for. You can start a new session directly from an xterm but I usually : Switch to tty1 Ctrl+Alt+F1 Enter login and password (this way I can login as a different user if desired) then WINDOWMANAGER=kde startx -- :8 You can get back to your previous session (fluxbox) by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F7 That should do it - -- dh Don't shop at ZipZoomFly.com (GoogleGear.com!) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAdMcDBwgxlylUsJARAtbvAJoD7bFqnTTRmxaFbjYtXlar2L4lRgCeJdlz EQ8HehwjJYv4cdtK4i3ditg= =x8wM -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
