This could be a problem with ACPI.
Please try to boot with other acpi kernel parameters like
acpi=oldboot or, if that doesn't help, acpi=off
You can combine these with pci=noacpi
I'm already through this hell in the last months. I made minimal kernels with or without direct rendering extension, framebuffer and removed everything i dont need. I shortened the init prozess, so the videocard has its irq for her own. And I tried out various boot parameters (i.e. desktop and the acpi ones). All with no effect, but without acpi i have immense Problems concerning the irq's. so I have to use full acpi support.
