Zsolt, So where did you get the kernel? I am having a similar problem with a Sandisk Cruzer pendrive. The USB and SCSI recognize it, but when I try to mount it, the process goes off to never-land. I am running the latest update of the Suse 8.2 kernel. Thanks, Rich
Hi
I had the same problem with a 2.0 USB pendrive. I had installed the 2.4.21 kernel and the promlem vaished. You can mount the device with the "mount /dev/sda /mnt" not "/dev/sda1" !!
I hope this helps

Hi I got a Yakumo Quicksilver USB 2.0 flash-memory. My SuSE 8.2 box has only a usb 1.1 port but the device was recognized (as /dev/sda1 on one machine and /dev/sdc1 on another). The problem appeared when I tried to mount the memory, I got an error message about wrong filesystem or bad blocks. How should this device be mounted? Thank you.
