Today I was trying to create a new subfolder in kmail but everything I tried failed, the closest I came was being able to create a new folder under "Top Level". I tried changing this folders properties but the only option available seems to be "Top Level"
Is this a known issue?
SuSE 8.1 pro, kde3.1.1, kmail 1.5.1
I found this out a few days ago. The only way I could fix it was to reinstall the previous version of kde-network mail.(from 3.1.1-35 to 3.1.1-6). I haven't reported it because i wasn't sure to whom it should be reported. Did you use apt tp update recently? Just wondering if it was a new suse thing or a kde issue. Do you have the new XFree86 installed? I have an inkling that it needs that, but I'm probably wrong.
I do apt updates pretty much every day so my version of kmail is from the most recent update. I'll try downgrading as you did when I get a chance. I reverted back to Xfree4.2, I was totally unhappy with the 4.3 install debacle. I did get it running but (I'm under the impression) that you need a kernel version higher than 4.20 to do 3d on an ati radeon 7500. Since SuSE haven't released an official kernel I am stuck at 2.4.19-175 if I want to use the win4lin patches. (I don't feel its fair to ask NeTraverse to provide patches for kernels that the distributer claims are unsupported) - -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+iqCdBwgxlylUsJARAuQzAJ4segP4VTZi2dgmXGj6VQYsilk5QgCgk8jv ihhZ+lapeyfuuenUJ0JAJmI= =yNaW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
