Well, actually in the i18n (interna....) directory there seem to be packages for koffice, only. AsI also though of this, i installed the german koffice-localisation just to see if there is any change. It wasn't. i'm afraid.
Okay, I see. You have SuSE 8.1. I don't know why there are no i18n rpms there, but I think, the ones in ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/SuSE/noarch/ should do the trick.
kopete doesn't come with kde3.1, it's not part of any kde core package, it comes in a seperate rpm. Look for it on your system using
You're right, sorry, i expressed myself wrong: I did get it in a separate RPM, which was anyway in the applications dir of what I suspected to be the kde upgrade.
Hmmm, sounds like another packaging problem by SuSE. I haven't seen such problems with my update on SuSE 7.3, so I'm a little bit puzzled.... If you need kopete desperately, then fetch the src.rpm and try to rebuild it. You'll need some kde-devel packages too, the kdebase3-devel, kdelibs3-devel and kdenetwork3-devel should be all you need, but I don't know for sure.
Anyway, thanks,
Anyway? If one way doesn't work, there is always another one.... ;) Greets, Daniel
