Well, personally I wouldn't say that, since there is no kde-e list. If anyone wants to post in German I personnaly don't see that there is a problem. Since I do speak fluent German, I don't have a problem, but I still wouldn't care if someone posted in Romanian if they felt more comfortable doing so. Considering the amount of trash that sometimes floods these lists, occassional posts in a language we don't understand should/could be tolerated. Just a thought...
Well said. An open thought, from an open mind. Science does not advance in a rigid environment. Most of this is two or three, who object to my pointing out problems. Actually, I am really asking whether others are having problems like this. In order for the product to improve, we must be able to speak freely. For the record, I've resolved all the compile problems on my own. I reinstalled all conceivable -devel files relating to KDE and GCC, and then everything worked except AIC. Turns out you shouldn't turn on kernel loading of Adaptec microcode... it's busted. Now I'm running -91 and VMware just fine, and all seems quite stable. But I haven't had fax, irda, nor printing since I went exclusively to Linux. Causes inconvenience every day. Credit should be given, as well as blame. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAj2sUF0ACgkQnQ18+PFcZJshNgCfWhbPgaulZQYiMymTyQJkIkLK m+8An0wXgXGqY6XrxPOReRsjCkgz7f9K =xO1Y -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
