Hi all,
I am new to the list as well as being fairly new to Linux, and I would appreciate if someone can help me with this trouble:
Suddenly Konqueror refuse to handle htlm web sites. When I try to open a web site, a message pops up asking if I want to save on disk or open it with Konqueror (this message never appeared before). If I select "open" an error message arises saying that it seems to be a bad configuration because Konqueror can't handle text/html files.
On the other side I have tried as root and it works perfectly. it seems to be something with the configuration of the Konqueror has become corrupted, but only for my usual user name, and not for the root.
As for the htlm files stored on disk, I can open they without any difficulty. (?).
Thanks, Toni
I had this probem with Suse8. Along with so many others that I had to go back to 7.3 . - -- If all the world's economists were laid end to end, we wouldn't reach a conclusion. -- William Baumol -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAj0fKmgACgkQnQ18+PFcZJvKawCfezv79kjTciuuex8SJAyhXnDL pHEAniXdzfVg++eaXoOb/gvQAlT70Myk =xEHi -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
