-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 . Running the same versions and I do not see this problem. Even tried to log in, and it behaved correctly. I tried it with Konq -> SuseFirewall2->linuxbeginner and Konq->Junkbuster->Squid->SuseFirewall2->linuxbeginner, with equal results. On Tuesday 21 May 2002 09:03, Kevin McLauchlan wrote:

A little peculiarity that I noted, when I viewed the URLs that you provided.
The second URL page includes an insert, on the right-hand side, for login to an account on that site. Konqueror comes up, loads the site, and for a brief instant displays the page with all the parts in the right places. Then, Konq settles down by stripping the right-margin wrapping of the main text, causing it to run through the frame containing the login stuff.
The same URL, visited with Mozilla displays correctly.
The questions, then, are:
1) What in heck is Konq "thinking", that it gets it right for a second-or-two, and then messes up (after showing that it knows how to properly display the page)?
2) What setting might I have mis-configured, to cause this odd behavio[u]r?
This is SuSE 8, KDE 3.0.0, Konq 3.0.0, reaching out through my employer's network.
Thanks for any insights.
