[opensuse-goblin] Installing the image to an already installed system

Could someone advise as to how one can install the image to an already installed system? At the moment if one has a vanilla openSUSE or Goblin installed the image installer exits complaining that the system is already installed. The only way I can install a new image is to install some crud like UNR and then install Goblin, not ideal by any stretch of the imagination.
