Hey, We have two new projects: + GNOME:STABLE:2.28. It's currently empty, but it will play the same role as GNOME:STABLE:2.26, but for GNOME 2.28 (obviously). It's currently empty, and one difference is that we will only put packages that follow the GNOME development schedule there. + GNOME:Apps. It's also currently empty. It will be the devel project for GNOME applications that don't follow the GNOME schedule (think gimp, inkscape, etc.). It will also be used to backport the official packages to older releases whenever possible. It'd be great if someone could create http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/2.28 (based on http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/2.26), or find a good way to explain on one page how we handle the stable releases. We also need to update http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Repositories During the openSUSE conference, we discussed how to keep built packages for old versions of openSUSE in GNOME:Apps. I think we should document this somewhere, so we can refer contributors to it. Yet another task for a volunteer :-) (you had to be at the conference, though) Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
