Hi,
Looking at the my applications menu (or at the application browser), I can see many items which are just cluttering the whole thing.
Here are a few proposals:
+ remove most of the pulseaudio launchers. They're mostly confusing. It might make sense to keep the PA preferences. We also need to hide the launcher for the standard volume control app if we use the pulseaudio one. I'm actually wondering if we need to keep the launcher for volume control since the way to access this should be the applet.

Please do NOT remove the launcher for volume control! I and several more need it to fix the Audigy Analog/Digital Output jack, since PA always put this the wrong way. Alsa pre pulseaudio always got this one right. AKA I have no sound out of box. And there is NO WAY of setting this in PA, only or volume manager or in alsa conf in cmdline. I'll give PA cudos for making it more easy to set up surround after Rodrigos (I think it was him) patch for it. + there is a lot of users that rip PA out of their systems and they will then need this one.
