Feature added by: Enno Nagel (Konfekt) Feature #321730, revision 1 Title: Yast2: add battery option for cron-update openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Enno Nagel (konfekt) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Thank you for fixing the run-crons script in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=983925 to run regardless if the laptop is on battery or not. Now it makes sense though for certain cron jobs to only run on battery. For example, for /etc/cron.weekly/opensuse.org-online_update How about letting the user decide if it runs on battery as well by a check box in the YaST2 software management module? In any event, OpenSUSE should ship with on_ac_power by default, so that this check does not depend on the particular user installation.
