Feature changed by: Adrian Schröter (adrianSuSE) Feature #309964, revision 9 Title: Request for updating attribute - Buildservice: Evaluation by project manager + Buildservice: Rejected by Adrian Schröter (adriansuse) + reject date: 2015-05-11 14:18:15 + reject reason: there is no need for it atm. We may reopen it once + someone has a usecase. Milestone: 2.7 Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Adrian Schröter (adriansuse) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Extend request mechanism to set an attribute (in a project or package). Request can get accepted by people who have write permissions for the attribute Discussion: #1: Sascha Peilicke (saschpe) (2011-11-11 10:04:03) Are you serious about that? I can already imagine all the magic ponies that are going to appear here and there and people left wondering where the mystic dust came from ;-) #2: Adrian Schröter (adriansuse) (2015-05-05 10:02:48) We need to re-evaluate this. The original need came from maintenance and security team. Do you still have a use case for requesting any attribute in OBS? Anything what needs either a review process or where the person who wants to have can not get permissions to set it directly? #3: Stephan Barth (cyberiad) (2015-05-06 13:18:15) I personally see no need for this at the moment. #4: Marcus Meissner (msmeissn) (2015-05-11 14:13:52) I actualyl do not remember what was meant here. + #5: Adrian Schröter (adriansuse) (2015-05-11 14:17:45) + okay, let's retire this request then. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/309964
