[openFATE 314825] File rename source service
Feature changed by: Justin Yaple (yaplej)
Feature #314825, revision 2
Title: File rename source service

Buildservice: Unconfirmed
Priority
Requester: Mandatory

Requested by: Justin Yaple (yaplej)
Partner organization: openSUSE.org

Description:
My application includes code for a kernel module. Because deb builds
dont allow multiple archive files I have to rename these to something
else like "module.src" then use debian.rules to copy that file into the
package with the correct name. It would be great if there was a
"rename" service to facilitate this. I could insert it after other
services to get the file into the format that will work for packaging
for debian. <service name="tar_scm"> <param name="url"
>http://svn.code.sf.net/p/opennop/code/module/trunk</param> <param
name="scm">svn</param> <param name="filename">module</param> </service>
<service name="recompress"> <param name="file">*module*.tar</param>
<param name="compression">gz</param> </service>
<service name="rename"> <param name="file">*module*.tar.gz</param>
<param name="filename">module.src</param> </service>

+ Relations:
+ - target/output filename (feature/id: 314828)
+ - Define destination file name for source service download (feature/id:
+ 312581)
