Any "Office" suite based on GTK ought to be a seperate pattern, I'm not sure how they aren't integrated already, doesn't SuSE menu make them available? The forum seems to have simply ignored this suggestion. #7: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2011-07-19 09:39:32) (reply to #6) I agree. Genix, please give more details, otherwise we have to reject this. #8: Genix Info (genixinfo) (2011-07-20 05:08:42) Make an alternative to LibreOffice in computers: simple (netbook), weak or old. #9: Robert Davies (robopensuse) (2011-07-20 11:58:05) (reply to #8) That sounds like an alternative office pattern - "Office Lite" for older computers, would meet the user requirement. Unfortunately the way to use the patterns, isn't immediately obvious and especially to new users of Software Manager. But they would allow a 1-Click install on website for the lightweight suite (I think) so are a good solution really. #10: andrea florio (anubisg1) (2011-07-21 08:26:05) (reply to #9) than, that already exist, even if it might be improved... patterns- openSUSE-lxde_office right now it installs only: abiword epdfview gnumeric goffice and is default in LXDE package selection #11: andrea florio (anubisg1) (2011-07-21 14:17:23) (reply to #9) please subscribe and mail all those proposal to opensuse- lxde@opensuse.org mailing list. #12: Genix Info (genixinfo) (2011-07-21 15:24:30) andrea florio, I sign and submit the proposal to: opensuse-lxde@opensuse.org mailing list + #13: andrea florio (anubisg1) (2011-07-21 23:25:03) (reply to #12) + thank you, that will allow to discuss it real time! -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/312618
