[openFATE 309334] Dolphin ask for root password on file drop
Feature changed by: Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm)
Feature #309334, revision 4
Title: Dolphin ask for root password on file drop

- openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed
+ openSUSE-11.3: Rejected by Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm)
+ reject reason: not in 11.3, we will get this as soon as it's
+ implemented in upstream kde
Priority
Requester: Important

Requested by: Christian Giorgio galeffi (gallochri)
Partner organization: openSUSE.org

Description:
I would like that dolphin (or nautilus) ask for password when I try to
drag and drop file into a directory where I don't have write permission
and no only "you do not have write permission".

Discussion:
#1: Todd R (theblackcat) (2010-04-23 20:04:20)
This will be implemented with kauth support for dolphin, which is
forthcoming but will probably not make it before KDE 4.6 at the
earliest.
