Feature changed by: Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm) Feature #308455, revision 3 Title: Easy way to refresh package database - openSUSE-11.3: Unconfirmed + openSUSE-11.3: Rejected by Thomas Schmidt (digitaltomm) + reject reason: moving to 11.4 Priority Requester: Desirable + openSUSE-11.4: New + Priority + Requester: Desirable Requested by: Todd R (theblackcat) Description: Currently, if you want to force a refresh of your package database from within the software management module or online update module you needto go to the configuration menu, load the repository manager module, tell it to refresh, then close the repository manager module. Having an easy way to force a refresh of the software database from within the software management module would be much more convenient. It could easily go in the "File" menu without cluttering things much, there are currently only 4 items there as it is. I know that ideally the package manager would know when to refresh what, but it doesn't always so it would be very convenient if users had a quick way to force it to. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/308455
