Feature #309362, revision 3
Title: Re-implement Download on Demand (DoD) feature

Buildservice: Candidate
Priority
Requester: Important
- Projectmanager: Desirable
+ Projectmanager: Important

Requested by: Adrian Schröter (adriansuse)
Developer: Marcus Hüwe (marcus_h)

Description:
The DoD features was dropped for 1.7. LinuxFoundation has re-
implemented it in a cleaner way for 1.8 release.

Discussion:

Re-open this feature because it is still incomplete. The pure backend
part is working, but there is no support in api so far (no permission
checking and it would remove DoD settings if other data gets changed).
It is unclear to me, if this feature will be really finished for 1.8,
but it is not a blocker for the release.

+ No one is working on the mentioned issues so far, moving it to 2.5
+ release and make it important.
