Feature changed by: Matthew Ayres (Solar_Granulation) Feature #306911, revision 5 Title: Lightscribe application Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Heribert Riesbeck (ve3fd) Description: This will allow to label lightscribe DVD/CD with appropriate pictures, themes or descriptions as opposed to felt pen labeling. This would be a very desirable application for photographers. Discussion: #1: Peter Gumbrell (gumb) (2009-08-14 16:16:08) LaCie LightScribe Labeler for Linux (http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10803) is quite a useful product. Very basic but allows you to import your own images (which the only other Linux LightScribe software I know of does not). I don't know how suitable it would be for inclusion in openSUSE but I imagine it could be included in the Build Service. #2: Pavol Rusnak (prusnak) (2009-08-14 16:49:07) (reply to #1) LaCie is not open source :-/ + #3: Matthew Ayres (solar_granulation) (2010-02-17 14:54:56) + This is a uplicate of https://features.opensuse.org/308408 + That request has been met with the suggestion (which I support) of + including LaCie in the non-OSS repository. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306911
