Hi all,

Could you guys also pick up a 5.6 patch for the NVIDIA driver
at, since the KMP fails to
build at
the moment?

Two in the queue:

what about 390.132 for NVIDIA GF106 [GeForce GTS 450]

Needs a backport, of course. Will look into it during the next days.

Was distracted this week, but somebody else stepped up.

tks, will delay booting kernel 5.6.

Stefan applied the necessary fixes yesterday:
xG04/ nvidia-gfxG04.changes?expand=1

much thanks, testing.

installed the NVIDIA 390.132 patched for kernel 5.6+ run package
successfully and see no display problems.

I have the kernel 5.6 patched run package for your convenience here:

For reference and in order to test the package build *and* to keep the nvidia
driver under zypper regime, you also might:

cd src
osc co X11\:Drivers\:Video/nvidia-gfx04
cd X11\:Drivers\:Video/nvidia-gfx04
osc service dr
osc build
sudo zypper in .../RPMS/x86_64/*.rpm

Requires a OBS account, though. Note that, from time to time, the osc service
call fails, if Stefan is quicker than NVidia publishing the new release on
but this mainly concerns nvidia-gfx05 builds.
