Yes, but as far as I can see it no longer has a group view (or plans are in place to remove it) and sure yeah the idea of software.opensuse.org is also good, if people put in concrete work to get software.o.o and yast working then I happily support some form of groups, as long as packages that really have no need for groups don't have them.
Like groups in https://software.opensuse.org/explore ? It wasn't particularly worth it to implement rpm groups there, because it's a service built around obs/appstream first and foremost, not around a particular package format. So if you want software-o-o to support groups in more ways than appstream, we will need to have that implemented as an api in obs.
