Works for me also for long time with AMD open source drivers (RX580
GPU, playing CiV6 when I'm finding some free time).

i just used it without problems.

i use nvidia proprietary binary driver installed the "hard way"

works perfectly.

Works fine here as well, maybe there is just a system package missing
(which should be pulled in with steam).
