An: opensuse-factory@opensuse.org Betreff: [opensuse-factory] tensorflow and python 3.7 I just found some cool ML project using the tensorflow package. Seeing it's in the normal Tumbleweed repo I wanted to install it, but I get
Which repo did you use? Factory? There are some that offer tensorflow.
3 Problems: Problem: nothing provides python(abi) = 3.6 needed by tensorflow-1.10.0-4.1.x86_64 Problem: nothing provides python(abi) = 3.6 needed by tensorflow-doc-1.10.0-4.1.x86_64 Problem: nothing provides python(abi) = 3.6 needed by tensorflow-1.10.0-4.1.x86_64
It obviously doesn't like the recent switch to Python 3.7 :o Is such regarded an error (-> bugreport), or rather a sit-and-wait thing that should resolve itself soon?
In some cases it is quite odd - all dependencies have build against TW, but the error remains. The dust should settle, but nevertheless, you may get in contact with the maintainer to ask if you can help.
