[opensuse-factory] emacs-magit silently removed !?
My TW update today silently removed the emacs-magit package,
which I heavily depend upon for my daily work. Worse, the package in
the "editors" repo is also broken, as it links to the not-anymore-
existing package in openSUSE:Factory, so it's not possible to
branch and reinstate the package (I suppose it can be done,
but not by the usual straightforward method).

The OBS log bluntly tells "The build depends on the broken emacs-dash
package and I no longer use (or maintain) magit.". I don't recall
having seen a call for a new maintainer for this package anywhere, nor
a discussion whether this package could/should be ditched. I don't even
see this removal mentioned in any of the late "New Tumbleweed snapshot"
mails. The removal just came as a surprise slap in the face this
morning.

Sorry to say it, but this is not the kind of thing that makes me love
Tumbleweed.

Regards,
Martin
