Never been a problem for me, and I've never ever put / on a MBR primary. On rare occasions I have had /boot on a primary, but as all my installations are on hardware multiboot systems, the realboot primary is already ready to go and not to be touched by an installer.
Exactly. Yet the 15.0 installer touched it. It changed another Linux Grub, on another partition, a primary.
Another possible difference here: installer partitioners here are never used for partitioning. All they are ever used for is designating mount points & options.
I did not create or changed any partition. -- Cheers/Saludos Carlos E. R. (testing openSUSE Leap 15.0, at Minas-Anor) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
