There are 50-100 bugs related to this project in the Debian and RedHat bug tracking system. None of these bugs has ever been fixed since the project exists and none of these bugs has ever been in the original project.
That's not really relevant as most people use libburnia these days. Debian keeps wodim around as it is mkisofs from libburnia is still missing some options required for creating bootable images for Apple PowerMac systems.
