Before that I read:

/usr/src/linux-4.14.6-1/Documentation/sound/hd-audio/notes.rst

which explains a lot about the driver snd_hda_intel, also that it it supports
a lot of devices, amoung which my device.
I did read the man pages about Pulse audio, and inspected the configuration
files in /etc/pulse, but could not find anything about speeding up processing.
