Too late. Meld is a git utility?

No, a KDE application. It compares two files and displays them side by
side highligting the differences. You can copy/move/delete those
paragraphs left to right or right to left. Or edit instead. I find it
wonderful in order to see changes in config files and adapt them.

Thanks, I didn't know meld, but it's a very nice tool. But not KDE, see this
from their website:
